New Camera

Well I recently purchases a new DSLR camera.  I got the light weight Nikon D5000.  So far it seems to be an amazing camera in a small package.  I have only made around 100 or so images.  I have to say this compact, light weight DSLR seems to be exactly what I have been looking for.  I purchases this camera so that will be completely ready to capture all the important moments on my families Florida vacation this coming October.  Most of my immediate family is all going and it is going to be my son's and my twin nephew's first trip to Disney and I can not wait to capture the expressions on there faces when they meet all the characters for the first time.

2nd Job

In the past few weeks I started working a 2nd job.  I have taken a part time position at my favorite local gun shop selling guns.  I have to say I absolutely love work there.  However working there is tough on me because I love guns and I want to buy them all.  It also takes sometime away from my family life but it make a hobby that both my wife and I and someday my son enjoy a lot more affordable.  We all know how expensive hobbies can be these days and any way you can make the cheaper is a good thing.

What's important?

What's important in life will very for everyone.  It has varied for me over the years.  At this point in my life what is important to me would first be god and then my family.  And I can say I could not have one with out the other.  My wife brought me to god and god brought me my family.  I can not imagine my life with out ether any more.

What a ham

Sandy took this photo this morning. All I can say is Logan is really starting to ham it up for his morning photo sessions with mommy.
